Our Services & Fees

Despite the growing body of research supporting the efficacy of naturopathic medicine, insurance companies continue to limit the availability of natural health and wellness coverage in the state of California. Therefore, NOR CAL Natural Medicine operates as a fee for service practice, and full payment is required at the time of service. An itemized service summary, including appropriate medical codes (ICD-10, CPT), will be provided to you at the time of service to allow for your submission for reimbursement and/or application toward your medical insurance deductible. Payments to our office may be made with cash, check, debit card, or credit card (3% fee for all credit card transactions).

Women's Health

Women have unique health concerns at every stage of life. Our personalized approach offers specialized care to address your individual needs and goals.

Men's Health

Men have a shorter life expectancy than women, but the reasons for this are largely preventable. Our goal is to educate and empower our male patients to help them address the mental and physical stress that commonly contributes to heart disease and other chronic illnesses.

Specialty Testing

Many patients visit our office frustrated with the limitations of conventional medicine. Specifically, they’ve presented with “normal” lab results but still feel that something is wrong. Our functional testing services provide a more comprehensive picture of what’s going on with your body, so you can return to a healthy balance.

Integrative Cardiology

Integrative cardiology works to actively treat, reverse, and even prevent cardiovascular disease. We’ll focus on plant-based nutrition, lifestyle modification, stress management techniques, nutrient deficiencies, removal of body toxicity, and reduction of elevated inflammatory processes in the body.

Detoxification

The body has a miraculous ability to detoxify itself, yet once the threshold of toxic load overcomes the body’s ability to detoxify itself, illness and chronic disease set in. We’ll utilize functional testing to assess stored toxins and provide individualized detoxification programs based on your needs.

Naturopathic Doctor

Dr. June Stevens is the Founder and Medical Director of NOR CAL Natural Medicine. She is proud to have served as a Critical Care Nurse in the U.S. Navy, retiring after 23 years of service as a Commander. As an independent provider, she has spent many years focused on cardiology and women’s health. Dr. Stevens is a firm believer in patient empowerment and education, and she frequently delivers public lectures as an authority in naturopathic and integrative medicine.
